Welcome to RepHero, an iOS fitness game created by Raze Labs, LLC (“Raze Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the RepHero mobile application or related services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
RepHero is an iOS fitness game in which the player performs real-world push-ups to battle on-screen enemies. The Service uses your device's front-facing camera and Apple's on-device Vision framework to estimate body pose and count push-up repetitions, which drive in-game damage, progression through a pathway of battles, character ranks, XP, Endless Horde runs, Quickplay, and Daily Champion attempts. The Service is offered as a paid subscription product (“RepHero Plus”) with an optional free trial where eligible.
RepHero runs entirely on your device. The Service does not provide accounts, social features, multiplayer, or cloud synchronization of your progress. Your profile and workout history are stored locally on your device.
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. For users in the European Union, you must be at least 16 years old unless a lower age is permitted by local law. If you are a minor, you must have the permission of a parent or legal guardian, who also agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
Because RepHero does not use accounts, you are responsible for controlling access to your device. Anyone who has access to a device on which RepHero is installed may be able to use the Service and view the locally stored profile.
RepHero involves vigorous physical exercise. You use the Service at your own risk.
Push-up detection in RepHero is performed on-device using Apple's Vision framework and proprietary rep-counting logic. Vision-based detection is inherently approximate. Reps may occasionally be missed, double-counted, or not registered due to lighting, clothing, camera angle, distance from the camera, occlusion of body joints, device orientation, the user's range of motion, or other factors.
You acknowledge that:
We do not guarantee that the Service will produce any particular fitness outcome or level of accuracy.
Your profile, workout history, and progression are stored locally on your device. The Service does not back up, synchronize, or transmit this data to us. If you delete RepHero, reset your device, or switch to a new device, your local data will be lost and cannot be recovered by us. You are responsible for understanding that uninstalling the app clears your progress.
Our handling of subscription-related data and the limited information that does leave your device is described in the RepHero Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described there.
The Service is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (“RepHero Plus”) with weekly, monthly, and annual billing options. The current available plans, prices, and any introductory offers are presented in the app at the time of purchase. Prices may vary by region and may change over time.
Eligible new subscribers may be offered a free introductory period (for example, a three-day free trial on the monthly or annual plan). Free trials are granted at Apple's discretion based on Apple's subscription group rules and your purchase history. If you do not cancel before the free trial ends, you will be charged the full price of the plan you selected.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Your Apple ID account will be charged at confirmation of purchase and at each renewal. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in iOS Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions. Canceling stops future renewals; you retain access until the end of the current billing period.
The Service is subscription-gated. After onboarding, you must either start a free trial or purchase a subscription to use the main app. If your subscription ls, access to the main app will be suspended until a new subscription is purchased or a previous one is restored.
All purchases are made through the Apple App Store and are billed by Apple subject to Apple's terms and conditions. We do not process payments directly. Your payment method, tax, and currency are determined by your Apple ID and App Store region.
Refunds for purchases made through the Apple App Store are handled by Apple and must be requested directly from Apple. We cannot issue refunds for App Store transactions. If you have billing questions, you may also contact us at ian@razelabs.app.
We may change prices, introduce new plans, or discontinue existing plans. Where required by Apple or applicable law, you will be notified of material pricing changes and given an opportunity to accept or cancel before they take effect.
You agree to:
We aim to keep RepHero running smoothly but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates, App Store review processes, Apple platform changes, and unforeseen outages may occur. We may release updates that change, add, or remove features, adjust visual or gameplay elements, or modify pricing. Some updates may be required to continue using the Service. We may discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time; where required by law, we will provide reasonable advance notice.
RepHero relies on third-party services to operate, including Apple (App Store and in-app purchases), RevenueCat (subscription management and receipt validation), and PostHog (anonymous product analytics limited to onboarding and paywall events, as described in the RepHero Privacy Policy). Push-up detection uses Apple's Vision framework, which is part of iOS. Your use of the Service is also subject to Apple's terms and conditions for the App Store. We are not responsible for the availability, behavior, or outages of third-party services, and such events do not entitle you to refunds or credits beyond what Apple provides under its own policies.
RepHero, including its software, artwork, characters, goblins, rank badges, icons, music, sound effects, visual identity, trademarks, trade dress, and documentation, is owned by Raze Labs or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Except for the limited personal, non-transferable license to use the Service granted to you under these Terms and the Apple Standard End User License Agreement, we reserve all rights, title, and interest in the Service. You may not remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notices.
Your use of RepHero on an Apple device is also governed by the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. These Terms supplement that agreement. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the Apple EULA, these Terms control to the extent permitted by Apple's agreements with developers.
You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Raze Labs, not Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services for the Service. In the event the Service fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the applicable purchase price; Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the Service. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. RAZE LABS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, BE ACCURATE, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR PRODUCE ANY PARTICULAR FITNESS OR HEALTH OUTCOME. PUSH-UP DETECTION AND DERIVED STATS ARE ESTIMATES AND MAY BE INACCURATE. YOU ASSUME ALL RISK FOR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ALL RISK OF INJURY ARISING FROM PHYSICAL EXERCISE PERFORMED WHILE USING OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RAZE LABS AND ITS MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, GOODWILL, OR PERSONAL INJURY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS IN ANY 12-MONTH PERIOD WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO RAZE LABS (OR, WHERE APPLICABLE, TO APPLE ON OUR BEHALF) FOR THE SERVICE DURING THAT PERIOD, OR (B) FIVE U.S. DOLLARS.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Raze Labs and its affiliates, officers, members, employees, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to: (a) your use or misuse of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms or applicable law; (c) any injury, illness, or harm you suffer or cause while performing exercises in connection with the Service; and (d) your violation of any third-party right.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, legal requirements, or acceptable use policies, or if your subscription is canceled, expires, or is refunded. You may stop using the Service at any time by canceling your subscription through the Apple App Store and deleting the app from your device. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including Sections 5, 6, 7, 12, 14, 15, 16, and 18.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The parties agree to exclusive jurisdiction in the state and federal courts located in King County, Washington, USA. Where prohibited by law, mandatory consumer protection rights supersede this clause. Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable local law.
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Service, technology, regulations, or our business. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by updating the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
