1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Authentication identifiers provided by Apple Sign-In (such as your Apple user ID and, if you choose to share it, your email address).
• Display name and optional profile photo you provide.

We do not require or store your real name or phone number.

1.2 Images and Creative Content

To provide the core editing service, we collect and store:

• Photos you upload from your device or capture with your camera for editing.
• Text prompts you provide describing your desired edits.
• AI-generated images produced by the service in response to your edits.
• Image metadata such as dimensions (width and height).

Uploaded and generated images are stored in cloud storage so you can access your edit history across sessions.

1.3 Chat and Edit History

We store your conversations with the AI editor, including:

• Chat sessions with titles, timestamps, and the AI model you selected.
• Individual messages within each chat, including your text prompts, attached images, and generated results.
• Preset-based edits and their generated outputs.

This data is stored so you can revisit, continue, and build upon past edits.

1.4 Purchase and Credit Information

When you subscribe or purchase credits, we collect:

• Your subscription tier and status (managed through RevenueCat, our subscription management provider).
• Credit balance (subscription credits and purchased credits tracked separately).
• A transaction history recording credit grants and usage, including the reason for each transaction (e.g., subscription renewal, credit pack purchase, image generation).

We do not directly collect or store your payment card details. All payment processing is handled by Apple through the App Store and managed by RevenueCat.

1.5 Device and Usage Information

We automatically collect basic technical data, including:

• Device type, operating system version, and app version.
• Crash logs, performance data, and general usage analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect to:

• Provide the image editing service, including sending your images and prompts to AI models for processing.
• Store and display your edit history so you can access past chats and generated images.
• Process subscriptions and manage your credit balance.
• Improve the app's performance, stability, and features.
• Communicate with you about your account or important updates.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service.
• Comply with legal obligations.

3. AI Image Processing

Raze uses third-party AI models to generate edited images based on your inputs. When you submit an edit:

• Your uploaded image(s) and text prompt are sent to the selected AI model provider for processing.
• The AI providers we use are Google (Gemini API) and fal.ai.
• These providers process your images and prompts to generate the edited output. Their use of your data is governed by their respective privacy policies and terms of service.
• We do not use your images or prompts to train our own AI models.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:

• AI model providers (Google, fal.ai) to process your image editing requests. Only the images and prompts necessary for generation are shared.
• Infrastructure providers (Supabase for database and storage, Cloudflare for our backend) that help us operate the service. These providers access data only to perform services on our behalf.
• Subscription management providers (RevenueCat, Superwall) to manage subscriptions, process purchase events, and present upgrade options.
• Legal authorities when required by law, to protect our rights, or to prevent fraud or abuse.
• In connection with a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you before your data is transferred.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on servers provided by Supabase, located in the United States (US West region). We use row-level security policies on our database to ensure you can only access your own data. Images are stored in cloud storage buckets with access controls.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data, but no system is completely secure. Please use strong passwords and notify us of any suspected unauthorized access.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You can delete individual chats and their associated images at any time within the app.

To delete your account and all associated data (profile, chats, messages, images, credit history), contact us at ianmcarscadden@gmail.com. Upon account deletion, we will remove your data from our active systems. Some data may be retained in backups for a limited period before being permanently deleted.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate personal data.
• Delete your personal data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.

8. Children's Privacy

Raze is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us so we can remove it.

9. International Data Transfers

We operate in the United States and your data is processed and stored in the US. If you are located outside the United States, your data will be transferred to the US for processing. By using Raze, you consent to this transfer.

10. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the right to know the categories of personal information we collect and how we use it, request deletion of your personal information, and not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of Raze after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
